If LSU continues to improve and grow, a two loss season would be a reasonable and rational prediction.
This statement

For the rest of the season, Alabama will be, as always, a big challenge.
You seem to concede a loss to Alabama, and hold hope for every other game.
Yesterday, Alabama played Florida. Florida got hit with Bama's 'Shock and Awe' early, ... and then proceeded to outplay Alabama the rest of the way. Even blowing some kicks and making a couple of questionable moves, they still almost won. If there's a rematch, my money goes on the Gators.
If we can't beat Alabama, we similarly can't beat Florida. That's 3 losses right there. If we can beat Florida, there's no reason to concede the Bama game out of hand.

We couldn't have beat either of those teams yesterday but we weren't playing them yesterday. We may be better or worse later on and so will they. That was Florida's best shot and they may not equal it again. Saban will fix Bama's defensive problems or die trying.
