I think you’ve been pretty even handed.
And although I’ve been critical of the cancerous culture of the Ruston community, there are a whole bunch of terrific people who live there. The place has so much potential to be a great place to live.
Maybe this event will cause some introspection and possibly some change.

It already is a great place to live. I'm hard pressed to think of a better place in Louisiana by most metrics. Quality of life is comparable or better than the Northshore, without the traffic and flooding. Ruston does have a reputation for being insular and gossipy, but what place isn't. The Cedar Creek situation could have happened anywhere and does.
