I harp on this a lot, but there needs to be a long discussion about Ozzie giving up switch hitting. He is so good from the right side.

It’s so strange. He’s just like Chipper. Uses a bigger bat left-handed, has a longer swing with a few more holes. But Chipper had MUCH more power from that side than the right and was a better overall hitter.

But Ozzie is a totally different player. It’d make a lot more sense, with his speed, if he had a shorter, more compact swing from the left side so he could take advantage of that speed. I guess I just don’t understand the advantage he thinks he gets from hitting from the left side. Obviously he can hit righties from the right side just fine.
