Crohns or Colitis possibly. I could be way off and don’t like to guess on someone’s condition but after having Colitis then Colon cancer, i have a good idea how a severe flare up changes you in your physical appearance. Hopefully it’s not something that severe.
Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis are awful diseases. People who’ve never had it can’t possibly fathom how miserable it is.
Good news is that it can be treated most of the time and have long stretches of remission. Unfortunately for me I stopped taking all my medication after 3 years of remission thinking I didn’t need it anymore but boy was I wrong. It came back with a vengeance where my entire large intestines were ulcerated then turned to cancer. Dr was able to remove my colon and make an internal J pouch out of my small intestines and by the grace of God I’ve gone nearly 20 years with no major issues. I was worried I was going to have to shite in a bag the rest of my life. Usually the internal pouches don’t last long so I know one day I will end up with a bag but there’s nothing I can do about it. All I can do is be grateful for what I have and not worry about when my pouch may go bad. I’ll cross that bridge if it comes. God has really blessed beyond my wildest dreams and more than I could hope for. Things really can always be worse. I’m very fortunate.
Don’t know why I felt the need to post my medical history.

Yep. When I was first diagnosed I went from 197lbs to 155lbs in just under 4 months. Not fun. Had no energy most of the time. Best wished to McShay.
