Was wondering the same thing. I watched Notre Dame execute a few to perfection against Florida State when they were bringing the heat.
While I agree that our OL was getting manhandled in run blocking, blocking on screen passes is a different skill set as it requires blocking in the open field rather than phone booth strength and leverage. Our OL may not be able to do either but seems like it’s at least worth a shot.
