There was nothing in that article other than speculation on ways to get around the problem of targeting at the end of the run. Something that thus far, nobody has managed. This system is the Chinese pulling Reagan's Star Wars trick on us trying to spook our public with something that's not actually there. Sure you can fire the things, but until you can demonstrate that you can actually hit a ship with it that's in motion and maneuvering, this is fear porn for the US public.

Carrier battle groups are no longer effective against near peer engagements as has been proven in war games with allies.
