I picked up the Firman T07571 tri fuel generator at Costco the day before the storm.

The propane option was great especially since gas was scarce the first 5 days after the storm hit. Unfortunately, the propane regulator that comes with the product was defective which caused inconsistent starts. I averaged about a 75 minute wait daily in Kenner to get the propane tanks refilled since both nearby Home Depots were out.

I switched to gasoline Saturday and it starts the first time, every time. Getting around 12-13 hours per fill.

So far, the only issue I had with electronics is my ATT router stopped working. Only the top Power light would come on when prior to having to refuel, the router's lights all came on and the internet and tv worked fine. Fortunately I had the old router the tech left so I switched out the cables and it worked.

If I had the luxury of choice and time, I would've taken a hard look at the Champion Tri Fuel since it comes with the nat gas hose kit (Firman doesn't include it) and has a carbon monoxide sensor shutoff.
