re: Fence blown down between neighbors

There are very specific laws in the LA Civil Code regarding fences if you end up going that way. I have always told the neighbor I am willing to spend a weekend with them building the fence. If he just wants you to bust out the checkbook, I would say it depends on how much and your ability to pay. Is the quote reasonable, is the fence design reasonable, can you afford it? If it's a standard fence, he isn't hiring his brother in laws or something and it's in your budget I would pay for half. If he wants some fancy shite, is using some crazy high priced contractor or he lives in a mansion that backs up to your trailer, I would tell him no.
