I get the Hunts classic spaghetti sauce and some Hunts tomato sauce and add sauteed onions, celery, mushrooms, and garlic in olive oil. Throw in some Tony's, parsley, thyme, tarragon, italian seasonings. Then some butter, worchestshire, beef base, cab. sauv., sugar and cook all day.

If you're doctoring it up this much and cooking all day, you might as well just make it from scratch

Same. Only I do tomato sauce not spaghetti. And fry the crusted tomatoes in olive oil. Hold the mushrooms.
And when on one is looking, and I mean no one. I add one tablespoon of hunts natural catsup per gallon of sauce.
I can't figure out what the hell is in it.
