Could the lack of strengthening in the official forecast somehow be related to the dearth of reconnaissance planes?

I do find it interesting that the pressure is dropping like a mofo but the wind has stayed the same since 4pm today? I hope this is good data but that doesn’t seem logical.

It has to be. There is no way it weakened. The eye has gotten everything together lately and is looking primed over hot water.
