Any recommendations for a short trip to anywhere in the Caribbean from MSY? Due to work, we can only go for a quick Sunday-Wednesday 3 day trip.

Cancun? I'd be looking for the shortest direct flight I could find to maximize your time there.

Cancun is also my first thought due to likelihood of direct flight. Also check San Juan. Can rent a car and get to the west to around Rincon decently quick. If having to do a stop, a lot of options as likely connecting in Miami.

Appreciate the replies everyone. We decided to just go with the Keys since it is a short trip and domestic. Cant afford to get stuck outside of the US if one of us were to pop positive on the reentry covid test.
