Samsung 63" TV LED Strips went out. Is it worth fixing?

I have a 63" Samsung LED TV that it appears the LED strips went out on. TV comes on, but no picture, just sound. I talked to an electronics guy, he said the LED strips are likely what's not working. Unfortunately he is retiring, so I didn't get to ask him how much this repair normally costs.
My question to you all is, do you think this is worth fixing, or just dump it and get a new TV? I watched a repair on youtube. It doesn't look like something I'd be interested in doing.

I’ve had strips repaired/replaced on two TVs and they work fine now. I shelled out a couple hundred for each instead of a lot more for a new TV.
