Doesn't ring a bell. When we met fellow Americans we usually hung out together (safer in numbers...talking about Nigeria here). We would get to the airport around noonish and the international flight didn't leave until 10:30pm. Go to the "bar" and drink Heinekens until departure.
Had to be careful went it got dark though. The airport would have random blackouts. Pitch dark. Key was to put your back against a wall and stay low. We had nationals we trusted that would stay with us until we boarded most times.
CSB: Met Hakeem Olajuwan in that same airport (he's from Nigeria).
