She is 64.

Probably grew up when the PC term was nword or colored.

Just a few years ago the PC term was African American.

Now we are back to the PC term being "blacks" or "people of color".

At this rate in a few years the left will have convinced us that nword is now the PC term.

So she was 13 in 1970, it wasnt an acceptable word even then. She knew better and if she gets fired its her own fault.

My grandmother was born in 1933 and knows better, I have never heard her use that word because she is not racist.

Nope I'm 59. The N-word was uttered by our grandparents without a second thought but most of our parents did not and we all knew not to do that in public places at the very least.

Still acceptable, as is black (the term from my youth).

People of color is typically used as an inclusive term for non whites rather than just black folks.
