Spot treat weeds. Put down a spring and fall pre emergent and then don't do anything. Centipede hates a healthy soil to be honest. If it looks bad maybe throw some milorganite on it.

Just got my bottle of simazine per your rec to combat the insane amount of rescue grass I had earlier this year.
