Is government mandating that no densely packed events are held? The only way this criticism would make sense is if government had told Obama not to hold a party.

Show me where in the constitution it says the government has the power to tell anyone they can’t hold a party.

Obama's a private citizen. If the government isn't preventing him from holding a birthday party, I can't make him. It's the role of government to decide whether Obama has breached guidelines or not.

So you think the government can put out “guidelines” that erase our rights? So me where it says that in the constitution.

If the government is allowing him to do it, I'm not sure I can do much to stop him.

So the government “allows” us to do things like holding a party? Explain how you think they have any say.

Local governments were allowed to pass lockdown orders for example. Government has the right to order people to stay at home or not hold a party otherwise local governments would not have been allowed to pass lockdown orders.

People in Michigan and Pennsylvania sued to try and get their states to open up during the peak of the pandemic. Both requests were denied by a panel of judges who ruled lockdowns as constitutional.

Clearly holding a party in a pandemic isn't a right, otherwise lockdown orders and mask mandates would have been unconstitutional.

The Michigan ruling upheld Governor Gretchen's order to stay at home. Therefore, the evidence I've seen is that it is constitutional for local governments to mandate stay-at-home orders.
