The childless left

It was pointed out to me today that no one in our local school board has a child in the school system. They are making decisions that are insane. Under their plan, I anticipate we will have all students remote learning within a month of school starting.
The childless left is who is making our country miserable. When my wife was pregnant with our oldest, I was naive and thought I could make a difference and worked in administration for a large K-12 school district. My boss and her hand picked sidekick were miserable unmarried childless women who put career above anything.
A colleague came into my office with a baby gift. She said something to the effect of "having a child is going to make you a better educator." The sidekick heard it and went crazy. There were HR meetings and my boss tried to fire this woman. She had about 20+ years of experience and was well liked, but they nearly got her. They made her life hell for the next few months and she went to be a professor.
I stayed for another year or so, then followed her and did the same thing.
Our education system is filled with childless cat ladies running things. Worse yet, the only males in most school buildings are the janitors. I have put one through 13 years of K-12 and another through seven. One male teacher between them (the youngest had a male PE teacher in elementary school)

It's why they are importing immigrants. The right hugely outproduces them; it is our greatest strength and should keep it up. We have been making grounds vastly outpacing the cultural gains they have made. It's why they are trying to undermine parents' influence too. Desperation. Who holds the children holds the future.

Greene has children in the system.
But you are correct that many bureaucrats have no skin the game when it comes to family and future.

No skin in the game. Everything is a transaction to them. They will take from you without limit.

This is also a blessing in disguise. Most of the radical progressives out there aren't having children while many conservative parents continue to breed like jack rabbits. With any luck, the pendulum will begin to swing in the other direction here in the next 10-20 years.
