Things change. Last year Stingley wasn’t healthy for part of the season only playing one side of the ball.

This board would melt if Stingley got hurt playing offense and don’t think the other team’s defense would not be headhunting him to get as many free shots on him as possible to help their offense.

Sure would, but it would be a stupid melt. If you have a great player - a difference maker - you want him to get as many snaps as possible. The more snaps he gets the more likely he sustains an injury.

There are only two cases in which he should not be used:

1) In a situation in which he is not much of an upgrade over another, more expendable, player.
2) In a situation in which he is being used so much that fatigue is starting to set in. Fatigue will lower his effectiveness and make him more susceptible to injuries.
