Any opinions on where Bama will go in the rankings?

I live among these people and I want to prepare myself for all the crap I'm going to have to hear next week.

beat WK with over 500 yards of total offense...and then the possibility of Fresno beating Wisconsin...and Auburn playing like poo against Miss. State...

I'm from Birmingham. I know these people. They'll talk smack if they crack the Top 10 but they know that they're not one of the ten best teams in the country. Neither are we honestly.

The only way they move up is if Ohio State falls beneath them. I would say they stay at 10/11.

I don't know...ESPN may just want to forfeit the whole season and give the BCS championship to USC right now, then rank Notre Dame #2 for the 2009 preseason

I'm a Bama fan and I say "who cares." Polls don't really mean anything at this time.
If this were the 8th or 9th week of the season and Bama was undefeated, then it might be important. But right now, polls are essentially meaningless.
Now for LSU, last year's NC, polls may have a little more importance, especially if you think you have a team capable of repeating. But all you have to do is keep winning and the polls will take care of themselves.
