I think the LA guys are solid and the OOS guys will really come down to how their season plays out in terms of the outlook of the program.
We have to save at least 2 spots for the portal if not 3. Barring a big jump from the OL returning after this year, we will be very thin going into the 2022 season at that position group. Roster management will be key.

It depends. If all that is available is 3 stars, then yeah, let's save the spots for the transfer portal
On the other hand, if you can fill out your class with high four-star and five-star players, then go for it and fill out your class.

Not really. We are going to lose four offensive linemen after 2021. However, we already currently have four offensive linemen committed to this class and LSU will probably have five offensive linemen (Julian Armella) in this class when all is said and done. So at the very least we will be about in the same shape as we are this year.
Now we will be losing four starters, but Bradford will more than likely be the right guard, Turner will more than likely be the center, then I think Emery Jones when he arrives will be an instant starter at left guard and if he is not, then one of the other six backup guards will earn that spot. Cameron Wire will be the the returning starter at left tackle. Then finally, Will Campbell, Garrett Dellinger, and Marcus Dumervil will all compete for the right guard spot and then if we get Julian Armella, then also add him to that competition.
Hence, I feel like we will have a pretty decent offensive line in 2022, especially if the backups get to play some during mop up time this season.
