They can’t think this far. Just because they can likely recover (or perhaps have), they think they are good. They don’t see the healthy 43-year-old nurse practitioner that had an arm and a foot amputated due to complications from covid, who cried tears of thankfulness when it was her turn to get vaccinated. They don’t see the early-80s husband and wife who died 4 days apart from each other from it. They don’t see the grieving kids who had to say goodbye to their parents from a window, or not at all.
