It is pussy.

The Alabama game is the biggest LSU game every year. It’s the one LSU puts all their energy into (And why we typically lose every game after losing).

This merger is only good for the SEC if there is some plan to leave the NCAA. Having Texas and OU in the conference will only extremely muddy the water when it comes to playoff selection.

I know this board is full of purple tinted glasses homers. But people are DREAMING if theY think the committee will take a 2 or 3 loss LSU team over a 1 loss Pac12 team just cause the conference is stronger.

The SEC has always been the strongest conference. You could argue that 3 or 4 of the playoff spots could have already all came from the SEC. but they didn’t because it will never be decided that way.

As cool as it is adding OU and Texas, 2 national powerhouses, this move hurts LSU football. Not to mention will hurt recruiting because the Texas kids that avoided UT because of their lame conference aren’t going to need the SEC excuse to go to LSU anymore.


I’m only into this move if a whole new NFL style SEC league is being started (which would be sick)
