The fact that there are no warnings about the possibility of high water and the sheriff or city police didn't barricade that underpass earlier in the evening is inexcusable. So what if he lived in Gonzales. He may never have set foot in BR. No one knows the reasons why he was on Bluebonnet and the overnight pictures and video of the water were impressive. I can see how it played out. He probably hit that wall of water at 45-50 in the downpour. And never saw it coming. That probably knocked him out and with few on the road no one saw him go in. It's very sad. But if barricades and lights/signage had been up maybe he doesn't have such a tragic ending.
