Is spring testing still a thing? That’s where I tested out of all my classes, along with the ACT.

My HS didn’t have AP courses

Yep, it defeats the purpose of a lot of the AP courses if you plan on going to LSU. Especially Physics, Math, and Chemistry. For math, most high schools probably don't offer a non-AP calculus course, but if you can make a 3 on that exam, you could probably ace the LSU placement test. For Chemistry and Physics, AP courses only count for the non-STEM Major versions of the course. Physics 1001/1002 not Physics 2101/2102.

LSU also offers a foreign language placement test that defeats the purpose of AP foreign language classes.

Biology AP was by far my best AP class credit wise, and I don't think LSU offers a Biology placement test.

English AP is probably a decent boost. But if you can score a 4/5 on the AP exam, then you probably have a high enough ACT score to skip.

Of course these days, most "elite" high schools offer a ton of dual-enrollment courses, especially with so many being taught online.
