Whitney Houston - 1990 singing the AMERICAN Anthem

A black patriot who loved and didn’t hate America, singing one of, if not the greatest and most moving renditions of the National Anthem of all time. The only version that comes close for me is Lee Greenwood when he sang in Tiger Stadium.

She did it with a proud smile on her face, as she brutally owned any pop singer alive today. This wonderfully talented woman would NEVER turn her back on the flag. I wish she were still alive. RIP to a great black American.

She was the best ever--so talented and beautiful. And she sang the AMERICAN anthem.
