I know everyone thinks our pitching was terrible, but I honestly believe it was more about a lack of experience and development as opposed to a lack of talent. Look at how Coleman, Edwards, and Hellmers looked as they gained more experience. Bring in a great pitching coach and I think we’re ok even without pulling pitchers out of the portal.

Now, obviously if there’s some top level talent that enters, we should take a look there as well. I’m just saying I don’t think it’s as much of a necessity as some on the board think it is.

Well no matter how you slice it... a Solid pitching coach hire is absolutely needed.
Whether it’s pulling new talent, or developing current guys...... it’s crucial
