I guess it depends where you are starting from. I took a direct flight from Houston to Belize city. Small prop plane to Palencia for about 45 minutes maybe. Then just a few minutes away via car. I think they had someone pick us up. So for us it was maybe 6 hours.

Yea once you land in Belize City the little planes will just travel all the down to Punta Gorda dropping off and picking up people on the way. They are like damn busses lol. Going to Punta Gorda we stopped twice along way. Literally land, people get off, people get on, back in the air 5 minutes later.
