Old man in the neighborhood, PawPaw Triche, removed my warts with a piece of string back in the seventies. Had them for years. He tied knots over the warts while mumbling in French. Then told me to bury the string and the warts would disappear when the string rotted. Warts were gone in under a week.

There is something about warts and your mind, has to be. My grandpa told me you could wish your warts away. Now, if this man told me the sky was plum purple, and Hillary Clinton was a saint, I would have believed him. Had warts on my hand for years. Wished them away like he told me. Gone in a week.
