So you’re saying LSU is no longer an elite program. i expect LSU to make an elite hire in baseball considering it’s one of the few profit centers in college baseball combined with it’s history. McDonnell, Godwin or Vitello would have made a better hire. That tells me a lot of coaches said no. Lucky for Johnson, he has serious talent in the starting 9 coming back. If Johnson doesn’t lead LSU to Omaha next year, than I will just chalk it up as another meh LSU hire. Good luck trying to beat State every season.
