Never went. We would always go to Arlington to six flags and wet-n-wild, now hurricane harbor. Do the parks for a few days and go see the Rangers play at night.

Speaking of the Rangers, the new ballpark is amazing. Can’t believe we would sit outside in the summer and sweat our asses off to see Nolan Ryan pitch. I’m getting soft in my old age.
Wouldn’t trade it for the world though

I grew up nearby and had season passes to both Wet 'N' Wild/Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags every summer when I was a kid. Usually we'd go to Wet 'N' Wild on Mondays and Fridays and Six Flags on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

When you have season passes to places like that every summer eventually you get bored and start finding things to do. Me and my sisters would use goggles to go to the bottom of slides where you hit the water hard to find money. We'd probably come up with an average of $40-$50 a day combined between all of us. The water was disgusting, however. You had to wade through some trash to get to the gold.

The last year I had a season pass was 2001 and it got revoked because me and my friends were 13 and got kicked out of the park too many times for shenanigans that 13 year olds do. For example we would get the free cups of ice water, go on Runaway Mountain(a ride in the dark) and throw the ice cold water on the other people in the train while going up the lift hill and they would have no idea where it came from.

I went to Six Flags a few weeks ago for the first time since 2009 and so many memories came back. The new Joker ride wasn't that great but I had a VIP pass which let me go through the exit of all the rides.
