Went there all the time as a kid - church group went once every couple of years and my parents brought my sister and I in the years between. Ultra Twister was an awesome ride, and I rode the Tasmanian Devil ride a few times in my last trip out there in 99ish. Astroworld on the first day, Waterworld on the next, some random museums and other stuff around town on the third. We'd always hit up a few Astros games as well - got to watch the whole series of the Stros and the '97 Braves, everyone in the group was there to see the Braves and I was the only one with an Astros shirt, the guy running the promotions saw me wearing orange in a section full of navy and red (even though the Astros started wearing navy and gold) so I got some free loot. I really really miss the Astros being in the NL after seeing so many games there against the Cardinals, Reds, and Cubs - still doesn't seem right that theyre in a division with Seattle and Anaheim.

As a little kid we got to preview Astroworld before it officially opened. Drove in from Louisiana. I remember being pissed because there wasn't an Astros game that day and I wanted to see the Astrodome (couldn't have known as an adult I would see it 100 times).

An Astros fan since the 60s. It was bad enough when they moved to the Juice Box, but I can't even watch the games anymore now that they're in the AL. Completely different brand of baseball from what I grew up with in the Astrodome.

Same here. Even now I sometimes forget the Astros are in the AL.
