yeah i think the number was 35 million in renovations. i don't know what could be added on to what they have now, or if they'd have to tear it all down. they can get to the middle with 35 mil if they can add on, but it'll still be bad if they have to tear down the current place.
i talked about this with someone else here, Tennessee is in a bad spot. Fans are fed up with the AD, and they're rabid. If they lose Vitello, then there will be a revolt like Kiffin's move to USC brought. So I think they'll pay more than what we're willing to admit.. which is why i think Tony is playing the waiting game.

TV's agent is a genius to be sure.
The other factor about UT's ballpark is lack of available space. Even if they had the money for it, where are they going to put it? Their campus is on a river and surrounded by railroad tracks on a mountain.
No way they have the cash or logistics to give Vitello what LSU already has. He wants upgrades, I'm sure Woodward will find a way for him to get them here.
