What he did was literally the exact opposite of treason. The treasonous action would have been to assume powers not granted to him by the constitution to circumvent federal election results. EVEN IF THE ELECTION HAD BEEN LEGITIMATELY STOLEN, Pence still had no legal authority to do what he was being pressured to do
