The natural beauty of science, and the pursuit of truth within science has been lost.
Science does not have a consensus. Hypothesis can have a consensus, but once a fact has been proven and is independently replicated - we accept it even if only 1 scientist believed it to be correct before the study.
Politics has no place in science and anyone who considers politics while studying and searching for truth - should be fired.
