One of the dumbest things I ever saw on a job is a dude took a forklift outside and for some reason I can't imagine raised the forks all the way up and started driving around in circles. Of course the forklift tipped over and the dumbass was lucky in that he jumped out on the side it was falling but when the roll cage hit him it knocked him clear instead of pinning him.

He got away with just some bruising but he definitely got fired.

First job out of college was for a software sales company. In the support departments night shift, one of the reps uploaded some homemade software to move his mouse make random comments that he had recorded and make keyboard clicking sounds. they were in small cubicles and he slept the entire time.

I used to work for one of my sister's trade schools while in high school and college. Once had to tell a student his pell money had been exhausted because he had taken too long in school and it was his last week unless he could make a payment. He left for lunch and robbed a bank.

somewhat similar story

We needed something off the top rack, so this new kid stood on the forks and one of the yard guys was on the forklift, raised him up to get the item, but instead of letting him down immediately, the dumbass tilted the forks all the way over, went all the up, and just started going as fast as he could across the yard with the kid stuck up there on the forks without being tied off or anything

that dude got fired pretty quick

I worked with some absolute retards in that lumber yard
