re: What’s your first LSU baseball memory?

At a game with my dad late 80s, and had to leave early because my mom didn't want me out late. As we were crossing Nicholson to get to the car, Joey Belle was up and we were down in the bottom of the ninth with runners on. I don't think it was down by 3, grand slam, but it was a walkoff HR. To RF where he often went, and we could see the ball coming, and were both thinking we were going to get that ball. Nope, some car driving down Nicholson must have seen it, an old 2-door Oldsmobile, and he stops right where it's coming, it hits the road and then his car but doesn't go far, and he gets out and gets the ball. We were like, damn. Well, that was neat.
