I remember seeing McDonnell’s name on here as a replacement for Mainieri a few years ago before covid and before anyone knew who Vitello was (for the poster who suggested McDonnell is only the choice because Vitello seems unlikely).

This is a very strange take. LSU fans want several different coaches but for some odd reason you have focused on McDonnell and apparently think that he is not qualified.
