It looks like RR is an inch shorter and about 15 pounds smaller compared to JJ's senior HS year.

Jones is a bit more polished IMO. I would venture to say, the little tape I've seen on them that he is probably a bit more physical.

RR will have some work to do around route running, etc in NCAAF. Jones appears to be ready to step up.

Well Rebuen's vertical is about 60 inches shorter, he is 4 tenths of a second slower in his 40 time, and Julio can catch better with one hand than he can with two.

From what I've seen, they're very comparable in terms of ability, though JJ may be more physicaly developed at the same point. Both are as good as it gets coming out of HS.

For what it's worth, after watching RR in the dome last year Barry Every said he was as good as JJ and Georgia stud AJ Green and would be ranked right there with them... as a junior.

Saw Julio play in high school. Comparing what I saw to Ranle's video, they are very similair. Julio might be slightly faster, but both have that ability to take it to the house whether it's a screen pass of a hail mary.

He never said he was as good.

It remains to be seen. I can tell you this though, RR will be walking into a much better situation at LSU. He will have a competent quarterback who doesn't over throw him and he will have other play makers around him. Julio doesn't have either really right now. JPW is an average QB that struggles connecting on deep throws and has pretty much zero consistency in his game.

Out of HS...IMO you will be hard pressed to find anyone as good or better than Julio IMO. RR will play QB this year so it'll be even tougher to guage.

U think you might be a little bias? I think they both have the same style, and both will have great college careers.

What remains to be seen? If Randle is as good as Jones? What has Jones done so much better than Randle? All we can go by is high school play.

He said he was in the same class as JJ and Green last year, in other words right there w/ those two even as a Jr.

I don't know. I usually don't pay attention when they talk recruiting but it caught my attention when they mentioned Randle.

About as biased as LSU Fans are with their commits. This was said about Jones by many analysts, and many fans from all over the country that he could be the best HS WR in recent history...and that includes being better than Calvin.

It remains to be seen who will have a better college career (obviously). I tihnk RR will get off to a better start than Julio, but I think Julio will end up having a better career.

I'm not saying Jones will not live up to the hype, I just think most recruiting sites hype players up every year to be the next Hall of Famer. Most fans that said it were from Alabama, so that does not weigh to much on my view of him.

No it doesn't matter! Brock Berlin was supposed to be the next all time great QB, so no it doesn't matter!
