Before I was adopted, I was fostered for almost 2 years by a black family whose children I referred to as my brothers and sisters.

I'm over 40, and a conservative minarchist independent.

After I found my permanent family (California), I immediately moved in next door to a black family and a Hungarian family on either side, and a Japanese family across the street. Loved them all.

My next residence in a different state (Arizona) my neighbors were a black family and a Native American family on either side, and a white and Hispanic family across the street.

I did identify as Democrat earlier in life, but I see no resemblance whatsoever in the modern liberal party and the beliefs of all the various neighbors' families I was brought up with/around.

The modern liberal platform is fricking insane.
