I, as a classic Libertarian, have a problem with this. When you own too much property, you can become too powerful and potentially take away other people's ability to live life freely. Nope, he shouldn't be able to own that much property. Nothing good can come from that much centralized power.

There are a lot of people and families that own significantly more land than Gates…Ted Turner, the Briscoe family of TX, many more.

Well then. Just how much property should one person be able to own. And who the hell are you (as one person) to decide that???....I'll bet you think he has too much money also.
