Is MSM Turf okay to use this time of year and for spot treatment through the summer?
Yes it is even though the label will state not to use above 85 F. Expect a little temporary yellowing of desirable turf but it will recover. Use a 1/8 teaspoon per gallon + 2 teaspoons of surfactant.
Though an excellent herbicide for VBW and other broadleaf weeds, It’s dangerous to turf grass using Weed-Free-Zone at temps above 85 F - it’s better reserved for use in spring and fall at cooler temps.
