I feel like they sell a lot or fruity cocktails they a certain demographic enjoys more than the other. It’s a restaurant as well. I’ve never met anyone who actually returned there to eat and drink after visiting the first time.

I have.
Not sure what axe you have to grind but I've been there many times. The happy hour drinks and apps are solid. As well as the brunch. The gin, vodka, and rum they put out from the distillery are pretty good as well.
There are certainly many many far worse places to eat along St Charles alone, much less the rest of the city.
