It must be exhausting to be a progressive liberal

I was thinking the other day, it’s nice to live as a conservative because you don’t have to live a lie.
When I say I’m for free speech, I mean it. That means I’m also for free speech for people with whom I disagree.
When I say I’m for the second amendment, it means I’m for all law abiding citizens right to bear arms.
When I say I’m for school choice, I mean it. I want everyone to have a choice for better schools.
When I say I’m for lower taxes, that means everyone’s taxes.
As a conservative, I can proudly say I’m for oil production and mean it.
As a liberal, when you say you are for free speech, that means only speech that you agree with and that your opponents should be silenced and banned on social media.
As a liberal, when you say citizens shouldn’t have the right to have guns and protect themselves, you still intend on having your own private security force to protect you.
As a liberal, because of powerful teachers unions, you have to say parents shouldn’t have the choice to send their kids to better schools, of course, that doesn’t prevent you from enrolling yours in private schools.
As a liberal, when you say the rich should pay higher taxes, of course you exempt yourself from that group and hire expensive tax lawyers to shelter your riches from taxes.
As a liberal, when you say walls are racist, of course, it doesn’t stop you from living in gated communities with your houses surrounded by fences.
As a liberal, you must say you hate big oil, but that doesn’t prevent you from daily using scores of products made from petroleum.
It must be thoroughly exhausting to live in such hypocrisy and deception.
