I love how you seem to miss the obvious. Orgeron lost 35 players, both coordinators, his starting QB in just the 3rd game, and had key players opt out after the season had already started. So in your line of thinking all that was needed was a few “Xs and Os” and magic would happen.
What LSU went thru in that fake year of college football was a MAJOR REBUILD” on the team and the staff. Yet people like you give more emphasis to the Covid rebuild year than you do to the 2019 National Championship. The truth is you and people like you simply do not like Orgeron for whatever your reasons are but your argument is either naive or based on dislike of Orgeron because you ignore reality.

this line of thinking is so fricking dumb. For one it is retarded to think a guy who has played and coached a game all his life doesn't know enough about both sides of the ball to coach them. His job as a HC is to recruit and hire coaches that run the styles of offense and defense he feels will have the most success.
If you compare Jimbo and O's HC record at universities that put a premium on fb (not OM early 2000s) they both win at a 76% clip...and O has had to face a dynasty every year...Jimbo only the last 3 yrs.
