Nah, the Jews in Israel are clever indeed. They distract from their Apartheid system by maintaining conflict with the Palestinians which keeps the majority Arabs from wrestling control of Israel. Since the dawn of civilization those who rule over the commoners use various methods of distraction to control the masses. They are in control for a reason.
