It really does make sense for them from a marketing perspective. There’s already hype around the team with Meyer and Lawrence coming in, pairing them up with Meyer’s most successful player at Florida only adds to it.
As far as on field, we’ll have to wait and see. Tebow is still in great shape, still a world class athlete, and still a great leader. He could play a similar role to Taysom Hill and be successful, same that’s always been true of him in the NFL.

This reminds me of how much of a rumor/storyline the Tebow to jax thing was during his pro days
rumors pre draft that Jacksonville would take him just to sell tickets, then when he was a street free agent they always had him going there. Felt like it was a “done deal” like 10 times and never happened
