How much did this problem intensify after its handling of some controversies involving Hong Kong protests being mentioned by a tournament winner?
Blizzard had fricked up in a number of ways by ignoring the US computer base in favor of the handheld game market favored by the Chinese, with Diablo being a flashpoint on that front, but banning a player and the interviewer for mentioning the HK protests when they have gone whole hog on other protests rubbed people the wrong way.

Honest Question: Do a lot of people actually refuse to buy games because of that Hong Kong stuff?
I think it's more that they announced a handheld game. I figured these numbers will climb after diablo 2 resurrected is released.
