True story:
When I was in 5th Grade, my Elementary School Principal arranged a conference with my dad. The Principal informed my dad that paddling didn’t seem to be getting through to me since my behavior wasn’t improving. My dad simply replied that he needed a bigger paddle.
From then on, I met my due punishment from the paddle reserved for 7th and 8th graders. I thank God that both my dad and my Principal were willing to teach me that bad behavior often is accompanied by bad consequences. Both were real men and this world would be a better place if there were more men like them.
