I have a Tundra Platinum 4x4 with 5.7L with 1” lift. I have never got below 15 mpg with towing a 15” boat. Daily driving, I get over 16 mpg.

Sorry bud, as a Tundra owner I have to call BS unless you have the lightest foot ever. Mine barely breaks 14-15 without towing.

I average 15.8 not towing.

I have owned 3 Tundras (and a Tacoma), and the best I can realistically expect on a tank of gas (standard tank) is 300 miles,

That would suck. I've got 38 gal tank and can go 500 miles without pushing it.

Tundras - probably the best truck out there in terms of reliability and resale - poor mileage and desperately in need of an engine and body update.

I bought a Tundra because I wanted a tried and true engine and trans combo. Every other truck maker is throwing 3 turbos and 15 speed trans at 3 cylinders with crap reliability or no existing reliability results.

It's like no one here reads Consumer's Reports.

You can call BS if you want, I do have a light foot (not sure who is racing around town), but take out pencil & paper and calculate your mpg. The gauge is a little off (my gauge says around 15.0-15.8 mpg but when I calculate using math, its over 16mpg).
