This example is anecdotal. The price of costco paper towels per sheet neither proves nor disproves inflation. I sincerely hope you understand that.

So it’s made up proof of real inflation?

I don’t see the point of arguing that we’re currently experiencing inflation by using made up examples.

The point is that something like this does not get captured in a CPI model when measuring for inflation. Are you that dense to where I had to explain that to you?
